Mike Goetz joined SinterFire in December of 2000 as the Facility Engineer and maintained that roll until 2007 at which time he assumed the position of Plant Manager where he is oversees all manufacturing operations, purchasing, safety, environmental and facilities.
A part of Mike’s 44 years experience in engineering and manufacturing management he has maintained the position of Maintenance Manager for Temple Inland – Fiberboard Operations in Mt. Jewett, Pa; Facilities Manager at Keystone Thermometrics in St. Marys, PA responsible for design, relocation and general operations of a new manufacturing facility; Plant Engineer at Keystone Powder Metal with responsibilities of design, construction and relocation of two facilities in Cherryville, NC and Columbus, OH.
Mike lives in St. Marys, PA with his wife Margaret and the parents of six children. Being active in the community Mike volunteers his time as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 95 for 46 years, Firefighter/Officer with the Crystal Fire Department for 42 years, on the Board of Directors of the St. Marys Ambulance Service and St. Marys Water Authority. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.
