At SinterFire, we take pride in being a good corporate steward within our local community. Our employees give back in various ways not because we require it, but because it’s part of our innate culture. We will always spend time and effort building a vibrant local community for our friends, family and neighbors.

For the past 12 years, Amy Brennan has organized a local team for Bowl for Kid’s Sake.  The funds donated by SinterFire’s Bowlers and all others goes directly towards supporting mentoring for local children.  The amounts raised will remain in the county for the local community. Nationally, this event is the signature fundraiser for Big Brother Big Sister.  Each year half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters as we change how children grow up!  Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the perfect way for individuals to make an impact on our community.

Genesee Idaho Bulldog High School Football

Brandon Graves assists with the Genesee Football program.  Brandon’s focus is to help build leaderships skills for our next generation.  “We love to create opportunities for success and finding places where these young people can learn teamwork and leadership skills for life.”  Part of this process is getting the kids involved in ways that are uncomfortable at first – fund raising, field work, and community giveback projects. “Once the kids have committed and see what it is to be part of the community they jump in with both feet.”

Keith Porco and Jared Shaffer are local instructors for The “Women on Target” Program.  This training is a nationally recognized program developed and sponsored by the National Rifle Association. Training clinics are only open to women and are designed to teach firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship. Classes are designed to accommodate women of all skill levels. Firearm ownership is not required, as loaner firearms are provided to the participants. SinterFire provides limited amounts of ammunition to sponsor the class.

In cooperation with Argosy Private Equity, SinterFire’s owners and Breezesta, SinterFire was able to donate rocking chairs to the local high school life skills classroom.  The chairs were an immediate hit with the students.
